22R 22-inch Pan Reflector and Optional Diffusion Sock

The 22R is our 22-inch pan reflector, also known as a “Beauty Dish.” With a white interior and black exterior, the 22R has an internal light shield that allows bounce-only lighting, with moderate focusing. This provides high output with moderate feathering, making it a perfect soft light source for portraits. Additionally, the 22R warms the skin tones for a pleasing effect. The 22R has a 160º beam spread, making it an excellent choice when you need a soft, even light source that can cover a large area.

For even softer results, the DS22R diffusion sock (sold separately) easily slips over the rim of the 22R. The DS22R is a translucent white sock that diffuses the output of the 22-inch reflector, for an extremely soft source.
