VCA Vagabond Battery Charger Car Adaptor

The VCA Car Adaptor allows you to recharge your Vagabond Battery (B15A) from your car's battery. The VCA is a DC/AC adaptor that plugs into your car's cigarette lighter outlet. You can plug your Vagabond Battery Charger (VBC) into the three-prong outlet on the VCA, and allow your Vagabond Battery to charge from your car's battery. The VCA is used solely to charge the Vagabond Battery from your car, through the Vagabond Battery Charger. The VCA may not be used to power your flash unit(s) directly.

Using the Vagabond Battery Charger with the VCA Car Adaptor will recharge your Vagabond Battery normally, as described in the Vagabond Owner's Operation Manual. Some vehicles may require the ignition switch to be turned to the "accessory" position to apply power to the cigarette lighter outlet or accessory outlet(s).

Note: The VCA Vagabond Battery Charger Car Adaptor is different from the Cigarette Lighter Adaptor that is supplied with the Vagabond V150 and V300 Systems. The cigarette lighter adaptor that comes with the V150 and V300 systems allows you to use your car's battery to power your flash unit(s) through the Vagabond CU-150 Power Converting Unit. The cigarette lighter adaptor connects directly from the CU-150 to your car's cigarette lighter outlet, converting the battery power from your car into useable power for your flash unit(s). The new VCA Vagabond Battery Charger Car Adaptor, however, allows you to use your car's battery to recharge your B15A Vagabond Battery, through the VBC Vagabond Battery Charger.
